In the spectacular landscapes of Tibet, 'twixt heaven and earth, naturalist/photographers the Larrey brothers take us along on a full-scale expedition on the trail of the snow leopard. The discomfort of the hide, patience, hypoxia, extreme climatic conditions... such is the price to pay for these magical moments. Withstanding both the elements and doubt is no mean feat. A philosophical exercise perfectly mastered by breeders on the high plateaux. At the end of the quest, the Grail: the "ghost of the mountains" materializes in the two photographers' lenses.
