Born 1961 in Orange, Éric Franceschi is a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts, Marseille. Photojournalist, he is, without exception, Libération's Marseille correspondent from 1986 to 2020. At the same time he pursues personal work: Ilford Award in 1987 and the Rencontres d'Arles Voies Off Award, member of the VU Agency from 1988 to 2006. Éric Franceschi lives in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and is attached to the landscapes of his region and that of Lake Geneva, which he has known since childhood.
