Tom Wood

Tom Wood is an Irish photographer, portraitist and landscape artist, born in 1951 in County Mayo, in the west of Ireland.
His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, including at Tate Britain, the Photographers' Gallery in London and the International Center for Photography in New York.
Described by Martin Parr as "the unsung genius of British photography", Tom Wood has lived in Wales since 2003. He is represented by the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool and the Sit Down Gallery in Paris.
